i got the same problem "HDMI not work on my laptop (intel HD graphics)

i had bought a laptop 'hp 630' windows 7 edition ultimate 2 years ago

so when i tried to connect(just about 2 weeks) HDMI i found that my HD tv don't recognize HDMI input and my computer can detect the tv but he can't costomize it i tried to up-date and "down-date" the driver but  the problem still the same and olso my computer recognize my tv just if i remove and re-install the driver when my computer is already connected to the tv by 'HDMI'

and when i click on detect on Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display\Screen Resolution i get anoter monitor  with this msg "another display not detected " " avalaible display output on :

I am inclined to agree.

I think the problem, however, is the graphics driver. Compared to the d525 box playing the same mp4's the cpu usage is much lower, the jerkiness (dropped frames) is much higher. Neither are perfect compared to, say an i5-2510M, but I would have expected the D2550 to be able to play mp4's at 720p without any difficulty.

Still, there is one thing it does better. One of my test flash samples works on the d2550, on the amd t-56n, it just melts the cpu and does nothing.

Dear Intel,  please fix your graphics driver because I really want to be able to buy a couple of hundred of these...

If you have tired everything that intel support has told you like updating and checking for the right drivers....(which i had tired all of them and none helped) then this is a solution for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok display driver error blacks out your screen and comes back on like normal and i tired eveything to fix but i was looking in the wrong places because as this was happening i also couldn't open the control panel for the graphics driver and a error pop up saying GfxUI has stop responding. This error is similar to the display drivers error. Two ways to fix it if you tired everything else:

1. Make sure everything is update like .net framework and make sure .net framework is enable.

Go to Control Panel -> Programs -> "Turn Windows features on or off -> make sure Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 is checked. (the sub options don't need to be checked)

2. You can use the info here to change the security permissons of GfxUI and .net framework.

(2) Change Gfxui.exe security permissions settings
(1) Login to Windows using your default Admin account
(2) Access the following folder: \Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727
(3) Right Click on \Config\ folder -> Select Properties
(4) Click Security tab and click Advanced
(5) Click the Owner tab, then click Edit…
(6) Change ownership from Trusted Installer to default Administrators group
(7) Go back to Security tab -> click Edit…
(8) Change the Administrators group permissions to Read & execute
(9) Restart Windows, login again using the default admin account - see if problem is gone

If the Gfxui.exe error has stopped, then you can login to Windows again using any user account.

I too am having this difficulty.  I've set up a G1610 on an Asrock B75 motherboard.  Intel's autoupdate app doesn't work; it just searches indefinitely.  WinVista_64_152258 is the driver that shows up when searching for G1610 drivers, but I too get the "doesn't meet requirements" error message.  The notes for that driver don't mention the G1610, so I assume that the driver doesn't work for that processor.

I would like to know if there is a driver for the G1610 for Vista64 or if there isn't and will never be.  Vista was such a bad experience that I refuse to give Microsoft any more money for an OS, so if Intel doesn't support this processor under Vista, I'll have to switch to linux.

So, Intel experts, is there a working driver for the G1610 for Vista64?

Based on your description, I can say that this behavior is expected because the driver does not find an HDMI device connected because it is off and I am afraid to say that there is no way to change the settings in the driver.

Of course you cannot find intel graphics tab because you have not instlled graphics driver. And unfortunately, there is no 64bit driver for Intel GMA 3600, so just one suggestion: Install Windows 7 32bit

That would be bad news. On my ati radeon 6 i don't have this problem. They apparently have solved it. Don't you see any way around?

The graphics controller on this processor is one of the newest ones Intel ® released (Ivy Bridge) and due to this, I am afraid to say that there are no drivers for Windows Vista for it.

Windows 7 drivers sometimes work on Windows Vista. I recommend you trying the Windows 7 driver that can be downloaded at the following link:

If the driver does not work properly I recommend you contacting the motherboard system manufacturer to get their drivers.

Hello. After updating drivers (Version 3165) I can't use Quick Sync anymore - video recording application (Mirillis Action! 1.14.3) keeps crashing every time I start recording. No crashes when start recording with previous version of Intel driver (Version 3071) but recording may abort due to random freezes and is not as smooth as used to be, frame drops. Worked just fine before I decided to update drivers for both integrated and discreet cards

Try removing all the video drivers installed. , this is done through the Control Panel, go to programs and features. Then locate any entry similar to Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator (or Intel(R) HD graphics driver) and remove it. After that, use the Have disk installation instructions on this site to install the latest generic driver we provided:
