Thanks for the feedback you provided to us. I will forward this information to the appropriate support group.
Hi Chris Walrabe,
Thanks for the feedback you provided to us. I will forward this information to the appropriate support group.
You will also need to get the graphics driver from Asus* at the link below since our generic drivers will not work with your configuration:
Make sure you are not using any kind of video adapters, and also install the monitors drivers from the TV manufacturer.
I´m not using any video adapter. I Didn´t find any driver for TV. Is not a monitor-tv just a TV with HDMI input

I'm pretty sure that VC-1 is broken, though (see page 3 of this thread).
Yeah, VC-1 decoding isn't too great with the GMA 3600/3650, it's not using CPU acceleration as the load is still fairly low (<20%), but the driver or just simply the GPU struggles with high bitrate VC-1 so it often plays them slowly.
H.264 and MPEG2 in general are accelerated fine under Windows 7 however, but I agree that this 1091 driver isn't as stable as the 1065 driver in regards to video playback (better in many other areas, but I've noticed more video playback glitches)
hi nic..
ive already downloaded the driver, sorry to be a bother but i dont know what to do next..
Hello everyone,
Just an update on the current situation. As previously stated we are looking for a complete system that is experiencing the issue. This will have to be provided by a user who is experiencing the problem though, since we've purchased exact configurations that were supposed to show the issue, but didn't. More information on this can be found in the following thread, please contribute by providing the requested information! http://communities.intel.com/message/192759#192759
Thank you,
-Nic
Thank you for the information so far everyone! For those of you willing to contribute your systems to the cause - we are still working on seeing if we will be able to procure or borrow your systems. I will provide another update when we have worked something out!
Thanks again,
-Nic
Hi Dave,
Would you please try this driver? https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=22605&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%208%2C%2064-bit*&DownloadType=Drivers
I recommend updating the BIOS as well. You can download BIOS update from this link http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-116427-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&os=4132&product=5349161&sw_lang=
tnx for ur reply
i use chrome but tried other browsers too, but same problem.
Intel graphic card driver itself crashing (stopped responding), screen turns to black and after few sec recovers itsel but i have to reload the game every time when it crashes.
Hi Ertymo,
See what happens when you install the latest driver provided by your OEM: Software & Driver Downloads Compaq Presario CQ60-413NR Notebook PC | HP® Support
Thanks,
-Nic
I could be a hardware problem with the HDMI port in your laptop or the monitor.
I dont think so, because I connected another notebook in Tv and it works, and I connected my dell in another tv and works too
I am wishing this bug a (little late) an Happy Birthday! Maybe Intel can resolve it in the second year of its existence?
(Or it just trails off when new platforms get invented and the ones where it appears get deprecated.)
so long,
disappointed TB.
Hi,
I read the other day that
Intel Media SDK 2013 now supports fixed-function hardware acceleration for video on Intel® Atom® processor-based tablets with Microsoft* Windows operating systems including video playback, editing and conversion.
But its not specifically mentioned if it includes the 'old' Atom processors, or just the newer ones?
So, can the Z670 / GMA 600 make use of the Intel Media SDK?
Thanks a lot
tnx for ur reply
Already tried this driver few month ago but still same and i changed it back to latest version .
It only happens when i play this browser game.
Even my PC has the same problem, I feel really sad for Kim Torkelsonand my situation is similar to his.
Are you willing to send your system to us? (Yes/No) | No |
Is your system a laptop or desktop? | desktop |
If desktop, is it custom built, or manufactured? | custom built |
If desktop, what is the make/model of your motherboard? | Maximus V Gene |
What is the make/model of your system? (COMPLETE model name required) | N/A |
What is the model of your CPU? | i5 3570k |
What is the make/model of your failing display(s)? | Asus VS248 |
If laptop, is your built-in display failing? (Yes/No) | N/A |
What is your operating system? | Win7 |
Is it a 64-bit or 32-bit operating system? | 64 bit |
What display driver version do you have installed? | Intel_Graphics_V815102712_Win7(64 bit version from official website) |
What type of connection are you using? (HDMI, VGA, DP, DVI?) | DVI |
What happens that results in the blackscreen failure? | The PC must be hard reset. Then I tried to enter safe mode to uninstall the driver. Sometimes this work. Sometimes I cannot enter safe mode so I can only re-install the OS. After several times of this, I ghosted the system without the driver for later use. |
Any/all information is valuable.
I use Asus 9600GT as the only video card and connect with the monitor via DVI. This card has dual DVI output.
I don't have a HDMI cable even it is supported by my monitor and motherboard.
As I said in another thread
"I don't expect the driver to be perfect but I wish when it goes wrong, I can have a chance to rollback, like a prompt message box say if this driver does not work the driver will automatically roll back in 30 seconds."
As a followup to my previous post I've done some more experimenting with the mac mini.
I have 4 ram modules (2x2gb and 2x8gb) all four modules have been extensively tested (Memtest86+, Mac Server mem tester) for 30hours+ in two different machines.
Tested on a fresh install of OSX 10.8.3, no other software installed.
Results are:
2x2gb modules installed : no issues
1x8gb module : no issues (with either module)
1x2gb module + 1x8gb module (any of the modules, in any slot) : sleep / resume seems to work but eventually the display port monitor will flicker then go into sleep mode. Display port monitor recovers after power cycling the monitor, but will eventually flicker then go into sleep mode again.
2x8gb modules : Display port monitor blanks after system resume from sleep. Noticed on the fresh install (which was on an external firewire drive instead of the normal ssd) that the display port does wake for a second or so before going back to sleep. I wondered if maybe there was some disk activity briefly before it went back to sleep. Rebooting the machine is the only way to get the display port monitor working again in this case.
...
my conclusion is that this issue is occuring due to having > 8GB of ram. I'll probably buy 2x4GB modules at some stage to test it out.
Hi Diego and Nic,
I believe our question is NOT whether you have a plan to create the driver or not - our question is WHY Intel has chosen to ABANDON ITS CUSTOMERS by refusing to support a product with features mentioned at launch.
The page that you have provided contained NO INFORMATION pertaining to how this decision is made and how Intel is planning to compensate to customers for DAMAGES DUE TO INTEL'S UNILATERAL DECISION ON WITHDRAWING SUPPORT.
Would you guys stop copy and pasting statements but to ANSWER our questions DIRECTLY AND CLEARLY?
I look forward to seeing your prompt response.
HI
I`m trying to find new drivers for my graphics card but there seems to be none for my configuration, and the autodetect can`t help either.
I have packard bell easynote TE11HC laptop with INTEL PENTIUM B960 processor and HD GRAPHICS 2000 OS is WINDOWS 8 (not upgraded came with the laptop)
dxdiag says its just intel hd graphics but the intels auto update identified it as hd graphics 2000
The driver version is 9.17.10.2867. which is manufacturers driver. i was wondering is this up to date or are there newer/better available
