"It might be possible to add new applications, specifying the main encoding executable and marking it with the "I" rather than the "D" in LL applications."

Sure it'spossibleand Ido not know whyI had not triedthat before(I had only tested inDmode). QuickSync workswith the monitorconnected to thenVidia card, withLucidby adding theexecutablesin "I" mode !!! (That's why these threevideo converters inLucid list werein "I" mode). You mustadd inLucidGOM VC executable(GomVC.exe) orMediaCoder(mediacoder.exe) in "I" mode. That should workfor yousince I've done that with my monitorconnected to mynVidiaviaVGA (D-Sub)

Clarifyingand summarizingmy experience:
*Monitorconnected to theonboardvideo:
No need to installLucidto useQuickSync.
*Monitorconnected to thediscretegraphics card(PCIE selected asprimarydisplay and "
iGPU Multi-Monitor" enabled in theBIOS):
To use Intel
QuickSync you need to installLucidVirtuMVP(LucidLogix) and add the video converter executables to Lucid in "I" mode.

Iam usingLucidVirtuv2.1.221.24927downloaded from theAsussite.

"What is the application between Media converter 7 and Media espresso in the Lucid Lugix (LL) application tab?"

It is "Media Converter 7 GUI".

Well, I think I've been a long time under Windows (much more than I would like). It's time to forget about it and go back to my beloved GNU/Linux.
