Thank you for your response. I tried installing the previous driver without uninstalling the current one. It did prompt that I was installing an older driver... Unfortunately, this did not work for me. I'm running Windows 8 64-bit instead of Windows 7.
I hope this issue gets fixed soon, I use my laptop as a media center and having to run the driver setup every time I connect it to the TV is time consuming and inconvenient.
