I bought those parts for my PC about a week ago, and when i first tried to install windows, everthing went fine.
As the windows 8 dont recognize the ethernet driver, i've used the drivers cd and used ASUS InstALL to get all drivers installed. To my surprise, when the video driver was installed, the PC just turned black.
Rebooted, when system boots up, since the video driver loads, screen goes black.
Couldnt do anything for a week, than today i came to install once again my system. Same thing, but this time i didnt used ASUS InstALL, installed network driver, audio driver (No reboot) than went for the video driver, at the first flick that we usually get installing video drivers, the screen went black and i realized that the video driver would be the possible cause for that issue, googled up for a minute, and found this thread, started many time ago, but looks like the solution was not found yet.
So, if there is anything that i can do to help in this issue, just let me know and i'll be glad to help. I dont want to upgrade my video driver now, not even online for one updated one, because i dont want to reinstall windows for the 3rd time in a day, if there is any new solution, ill be happy to know.
Although im not planning to use onboard video for a long time, would be nice to know that one day i could use it.
By the way, i didnt upgraded the bios, neither tried anything described before in here. If there is any procedure, just let me know please.
Thanks in advance.
