Where are the Intel HD Graphics 4000 drivers for Windows Vista (x64)?

Hello, my name is Matthew and I have a new Acer Aspire V5-571p laptop that came with Windows 8, and being dissatisfied, I installed Windows 7 on it, and my friend gave me a copy of Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit that I would like to use for older applications that function terribly on Windows 7, but work well on Vista. So, I installed everything for Windows 7 and Vista, and the only thing left broken was the Vista graphics driver. So, I went on Acer's website and downloaded their pre-made driver for Windows 8, and it installed well, but on the reboot, it messed up the screen and the result was a screen that you could not see anything on. After that, I uninstalled the manufacturer driver and went to Intel's website and got greeted by this page which did not make me happy at all.

First of all, Windows XP is supported for this graphics card. This is awesome, but Windows XP is almost 13 years old now, and on the release of the drivers (01/2013) was about one year from the end of support date. Windows Vista, which is much newer and is far from the end of support date (2017), is not supported by Intel for my GPU and several others. I know that Vista was not a very popular operating system, but Intel should rely on Microsoft's End of Support guidelines, just like many other organizations should. What I think is that when 7 drivers are available, so should Vista drivers be available. 7 is built off of the Vista platform, and drivers of other things can simply be changed by editing 6.1 to 6.0 in an INF file (ex. AMD's drivers). If somebody could help me, I have been contacting support for a while and trying other forums online with no avail.

Thank you,

Matthew J
