What happens that results in the blackscreen failure? While reinstalling my driver after a couple BSOD's we're occuring while gaming (driver_irql_not_less_or_equal igdkmd64.sys), my screen went black, no mouse cursor, nothing. I restarted it and after the Asus logo and windows loaded, same black screen, didn't go to the lock screen or anything. I tried to do start up repair and system restore, neither of which would work. However, I was able to get rid of it with a system refresh and from there, had little problem installing the driver. I'm still trying to figure out how and why this happened. | |
